20 movies for the Goya 2017
VAMPYR (Diario online de cine) / Written by Carlos A. Sambricio / Published: February 5, 2016
Meet the favorites for the Goya awards in one year.
In Frenzy of these Goya 2016, I want to continue the tradition of jump the gun and predict which films may be the strongest to access the following Academy Awards Film suitors.
This is a review in which I focus on films that are compatible nature with the kind of cinema that is often rewarded by professional guild. That is why most major films 'festivalera' or 'commercial' nature may be missed, although there will be an extensive mention of them at the end of the series of articles.
Notice also that there are certain films that are not present because they were included in the report of last year (you can read here ) as' Altamira '' Toro ',' The time of monsters', 'The Open Door', 'The next skin ',' close to home 'and' One Hundred years of forgiveness'. In that sense, it may be that some of those movies here will not end up being released in this year.
Then you can read five of the films probably attend the next ceremony:
OLIVE TREE (Iciar Bollaín)
'The Olive' follows the familiar olive tree to retrieve a monumental journey, replanted somewhere in Europe, and bring it back to the farmhouse.
THAT GOD FORGIVE (Rodrigo Sorogoyen)
'God help us' it is a police thriller starring Antonio de la Torre and Roberto Álamo that is set in the summer of 2011 in Madrid. In a context of economic crisis and the 15-M movement and a million and a half pilgrims awaiting the Pope's arrival, inspectors should find what appears to be a serial murderer as soon as possible and silently.
GERNIKA (Koldo Serra)
After a long gestation period in 2016 'Gernika' comes a production of 6 million euros to distribute Sony and can be considered the team to beat, a priori, for Goya 2017. The film revolves around the fateful bombing Gernika in April 1937 by the Condor Legion, focusing on a love story between two journalists, played by James D'Arcy and Maria Valverde. They also participate in weight papers Jack Davenport, Alex Garcia, Ingrid García Jonsson, Bárbara Goenaga and Burn Gorman. 'Guernica' will be the opportunity of seeing in theaters a work of Koldo Serra, for 10 years that 'Backwoods' will premiere ago.
The Furies (Miguel del Arco)
This comedy-drama revolves around a woman in her seventies who announces to his three children He wants to sell the family summer home in order to make a long and mysterious journey.
BRAVA (Roser Aguilar)
Aguilar signs the script, along with Alejandro Hernandez ( 'Cannibal', 'All women'), and tells the staff undergoes vacuum woman witnesses a brutal aggression and that means searching for resources to restore inner balance
