In the film, which is based on Jo Nesbø's bestseller, plays Michael Fassbender unorthodox policeman Harry Hole investigating a series of murders are committed on a day where the first snow has fallen. This week Fassbender and Norway's history filmmaking been Boler in Oslo, where they have filmed in the middle of a housing estate.
Nosy neighbors let out a series of images from the recording on photo sharing service Instagram. On the pictures goes a winter dressed Fassbender around the suburban streets, while talking with director Thomas Alfredsson. British James D'Arcy, among others known from the TV series "Agent Carter" was also observed on the set. He has a central role in the film, but it is currently unknown who D'Arcy plays. The British production company Working Title have so far kept their cards close to the chest, but publicist Sasha Gibson reveals Dagbladet that several key scenes have been recorded this week . - We captured some very important scenes this week and will continue filming in Oslo the next few weeks. When the movie comes out, people will recognize places and it's going to be fun for the audience, says Gibson. She adds that the film crew travels to Bergen in a few weeks, before they again will return to the capital.
Film team's tour of Oslo has been followed closely by the media and interested Norwegians on social media. Sasha Gibson said the film crew was prepared for a lot of interest, but they still are surprised. - When you make films of an international bestseller so you expect some interest, but that it should be so enormous is surprising, says Gibson. She says the reason behind the secrecy surrounding the locations is to maintain a certain serenity about the work of the film. Yet she is happy for the interest and roses people for the good reception output has gotten. Oslo Municipality, who added SEK 1.5 million on the table to get the recording to the city, was also praised. - It's always reassuring when people are so interested in a movie. We have been taking very well received by the municipality and the people of Oslo, says Gibson.
So far, the production team filmed in Bjørvika in Oslo, where Fassbender recorded a scene on a tram with 15-year-old Michael Yates. The teenager will be playing Holes "stepson" Oleg. Last week, filmed also a scene in Madserud tree-lined West End district Frogner and earlier this month the film crew also seen around the Monolith in Vigeland Park, where they accompanied NRK should have filmed a scene with Fassbender. According Drammen Tidende, a scene been recorded in Drammen last Friday.
Great Scene in Town Hall
The majority of filming will take place in Oslo, but produksjonssteamet shall also record several scenes in Bergen and in Rjukan. The book takes parts of the action in North Nesparken in Bergen city center and on top of the mountain Ulriken, but it is not yet known whether the landmarks are joining Hollywood movie. After that Dagbladet been able to discern a great scene recorded in the City Hall in Oslo next weekend. Harry Holes regular spot in the books, Schroder at St. Hanshaugen, are also visited by Fassbender and co. During the next two months. Plans call for the film to be pre-recorded in late March, and 1700 extras will contribute to the film about Harry Hole. Several actors have been confirmed for the film, but with the exception of Harry Hole and Oleg is not confirmed who will play the characters. Franco-British Charlotte Gainsbourg plays by all appearances Holes ex-girlfriend Rachel and Rebecca Ferguson Swedish will probably play police colleague Katrine Bratt.
