This Is What Happens Behind the Scenes of 'Agent Carter'
All work and no play makes Peggy a dull spy.
By Hayley Igarashi on January 21, 2015 Zimbio/Beyond The Tube
The spy guys and gals of Agent Carter don't have a lot of time for antics. They're busy saving the world, after all. Dry humor may be part of their game, but unabashed goofiness? They'll leave that to their real-world alter egos.
And led by Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter) and James D'Arcy (Edwin Jarvis), the cast of Agent Carter is one seriously silly bunch. Check out the irrisistable goofiness that takes place behind the scenes of Agent Carter:
1. They perfect their selfie game.
Well, Atwell perfects — D'Arcy and Enver Gjokaj might need some extra practice.
2. They are constantly napping.
Though only Atwell gets her own dedicated hashtag: #ComatosedCarter.
3. Sometimes dogs are involved.
Chad Michael Murray's dogs, Joe and Clark, are set regulars.
4. Everyone shares each other's wigs.
Because sharing is caring — and D'arcy can really pull this wig off.
5. They stretch out their backs.
Not many people know that an airplane wing is the perfect angle for back stretching. (It's possible not many people know because we just made that up.)
6. Makeup time is the best time.
Makeup artists love it when you open your eyes and mouth as much as humanly possible.
7. But it really doesn't get better than these two.
We love us some Carter and Jarvis, but Atwell and D'Arcy look like they might be more fun.
8. Case in point: The time they played with tree branches.
Who needs actual props when you have NATURE all around you?
9. It was all kinds of glorious.
Can we expect this on an upcoming episode?
10. And it culminated in a fight scene, of course.
Because if Atwell and D'Arcy can't turn trees into weapons, no one can.
