Lucy Moore wins new UK horror prize

Writer Lucy Moore has won the inaugural Golconda Films Horror Screenwriting Competition with her script Lullaby.
Moore was recently featured as one of Screen International's 2006 Stars of Tomorrow.
She will receive a $1,845 (£1,000)advance on a script option to make the horror film and will work with producers Golconda Films during the development process. The project is about motherhood and sudden infant death syndrome.
The three runners up - Stewart Suggfor The Glory Hole, Eoin Rogers for GeneStealer and Ewan Fraser for The Clearing - will go through a one-on-one development programme withthe Script Factory.
Judges were Gregory Mackenzie and Brett Walsh from Golconda, Ludwik Smolski from The Script Factory, actor James D'Arcy and (The Times) film critic Wendy Ide.
Golconda and the Script Factory started the competition to nurture new screenwriting talent in the UK.
Moore is also working on a feature script entitled Yours Faithfully, a psychologicalthriller about a murder accomplice after her release from prison.
